The Houghton Lake Historical Village and Playhouse is the site of 16 Historic Buildings which provide tours and rentals in an 1890's to 1930's setting. We are also open to the public on Friday and Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day 12-4. You can also make arrangements for a group tour by calling 989-942-0553

Village Days is a Weekend long celebration and festival takes place on the first weekend of August. Village Days has entertainment,games,demonstrations and many Family Friendly activities
Finish your visit with a tour of the 1920's Rustic Dance hall which we now call the Playhouse, currently holding dances, other entertainment and meetings. You can also rent this historic building for your wedding or other private party. For Rental Information please call 989-366-9124
